VOX SUAVIS
Vox Suavis tries to found bridges between medieval and Renaissance repertoires and traditional music, trying to find in this one new key for their interpretation of early music. The modality, the common characteristic of these repertoires, permits a confrontation that opens a new and richer perspective.
The bases of our work are recordings of the first half of the 20th century and transcriptions published in the same period, as well as medieval sources. Searching for a common ground for these repertories, the ensemble combines these sources of information and creates a special and unique style.

BESTIARIO IBÉRICO
We present a selection of late 19th century Spanish melodies that survived in Spain through the first part of the 20th century when many of them vanished. Their intensity and style make it worthwhile to rediscover and reinterpret them. In this program we listen to the songs with the pianist Eduardo Vallejo, who improvises inspired by the melodies. However the result is far away from the original interpretation.
